Position Overview:
The Account Manager is a pivotal role within Insider, responsible for supporting their teams and maintaining exceptional client and vendor relationships. This role combines concierge services, event planning, travel management, and administrative support to ensure our clients receive best-in-class service.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Interaction & Account Management:
- Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, supporting individuals and corporate accounts with personalized concierge services.
- Manage a wide range of client requests, including event tickets, dining reservations, travel arrangements, gift recommendations, and more.
Administrative & Office Support:
- Oversee general administrative tasks, including scheduling, email management, and office logistics.
- Assist with reconfirming reservations, handling client errands, and supporting the CEO on client management.
Research & Content Creation:
- Develop and maintain curated Insider lists, including restaurant guides, gift suggestions, and entertainment ideas.
- Conduct client-oriented research to enhance service delivery and create bespoke experiences.
Travel Coordination:
- Support travel-related tasks, including researching flights and hotels, negotiating rates, and crafting detailed itineraries.
- Contribute to developing organized travel protocols and researching global destinations.
Event Planning & Execution:
- Collaborate with the events team to assist in planning and executing memorable client events.
- Provide on-site support as needed, ensuring seamless experiences for clients.
Vender Relationships and Business Development
- Identify key stakeholders with new and existing vendors: actively maintain and identify creative ways to foster long-lasting relationships
- Identify new markets for growth and contribute ideas for building strategic partnerships
Team Management
- Oversee assistant account managers and intern staff and assist in training aspects when necessary, manage staff expectations and interaction with clients and vendors.

Position Details:
- In-Office Role: Based in our East Midtown, Manhattan office.
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 6 pm, with a daily 1-hour break.
- On-Call Requirements: Approximately 6-8 weekends per year, and 2 late shifts (6-9pm) per month, remote on-call via email.
- Evening Availability: At least 2 evenings per month for client dinners and events.
